Pools, gym and other facilities

The apartment sits within a small complex called Matchroom Country Club which means all of the on-site amenities are yours to make full use of.

This includes several swimming pools, including a main outdoor pool which is heated in the wintertime, plus parasols and sun loungers for those relaxing pool days!

There is also a gymnasium, equipped with weight machines, free-weights, cardio equipment and floor mats, as well as a Padel Tennis court and a snooker room, with three full sized tables.

Reception is staffed Monday to Saturday for booking the tennis court and borrowing equipment, and they can also give you lots of local advice on trips, whilst also making reservations for you and ordering you taxis. There is a taxi rank just outside - a trip to Fuengirola costs about €7 and takes five minutes or so.

Finally, there is plenty of free parking outside the complex which is on a very quiet road only used to access apartments. It’s well-lit and safe.

The complex also has a number of facilities that have been closed but will be reopening for summer 2023. These include an on-site restaurant and bar with exterior terraces that serves everything from breakfast to dinner, an indoor sauna/spa complex with indoor hot tub, an additional, indoor heated swimming pool, and an outdoor bar by the main pool area.

These closed during the pandemic, but will be reopening soon and updates will be made here monthly so that you don’t book under false pretenses!
